Part Time Teller - Bryan

This individual is responsible for receiving and processing all member transactions in person, by mail or by phone. You must be accurate in handling of cash and negotiable items, enjoy working within a team and committed to providing quality service to our members. The teller reports directly to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities include processing member transactions such as deposits and payments, handling negotiable items such as traveler's checks and money orders, and managing a cash drawer.

Typical hours will be Monday - Thursday, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. These hours may be adjusted by the credit union as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • high school graduate or equivalent education
  • previous credit union experience helpful but not necessary

Part Time Member Services Representative - Katy

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting members with the opening of various types of accounts, file maintaining existing accounts, issuing and surrendering term share certificates, providing teller services, and handling telephone calls.

    Minimum education and experience necessary:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ten key calculator
  • Cash handling experience

This position is one of actual performance requiring direct contact with the general membership and providing assistance with a full range of services. It requires the employee to be well versed in all areas of member service. This position requires accuracy and speed in handling large sums of cash. It will also require Saturday work on a rotating basis.

Typical hours for this position will be Monday - Thursday, 12:10 p.m. - 5:10 p.m. and Friday, 12:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Saturdays are 8:15 a.m - 12:45 p.m. You will typically be asked to work one Saturday each month. These hours will be adjusted as needed to accommodate staffing needs.

Vice President - Lending

This position is responsible for supervision of the credit union's consumer and real estate lending programs and collection activities. Additionally, this individual participates in strategic planning and the development of credit union policies, procedures and goals. This individual will also function as a loan officer as needed. The position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Member Services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervision of the credit union's consumer and real estate lending programs and all collection activities (this includes consulting with loan officers on loan request exceptions and overseeing actions on bankruptcy notices); review, develop, implement and assure compliance with lending policies and procedures;communicate lending policies and procedures with staff along with the goals and direction of the credit union to assure a clear understanding of expectations; review and develop loan products and services as needed; assist in the recruitment, hiring, coaching and training of lending and collection staff; contribute to the credit union's long and short-term strategic planning; develop, anyalyze and complete monthly reports for all areas of supervision; implementation, over-site and completion of projects as needed.

Education and Experience Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years credit union mid-management supervisory experience and/or sufficient practical work experience
  • Minimum 2 y ears consumer and/or real estate lending experience
  • Small business loan underwriting experience preferred

This position requires knowledge of all credit union services, related policies and procedures, adn the back office processes that support those services. A strong knowledge of lending principles and basic financial analysis is also required. A high degree of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail is expected. This person must a have a commitment to member service and staff support/development and be able to interface with members and staff in a manner that demonstrates that commitment.
