| Who Can Join?
The Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union was founded in 1954 as Tri-County Teachers Credit Union and initially served the educators of Waller County, Fort Bend County, and Katy ISD. Since that time, the name has been changed to better describe the 13 county area of Texas which the credit union serves. How To Join: First, determine your eligibility by reading below. Then, email, write or call and request a Membership Packet. Membership in the BVSCU is limited to the following: 1. Employees and members of the Boards of Education of all schools and colleges (except Prairie View A & M) in the following counties: Austin, Bastrop (excluding Bastrop ISD), Brazos, Burleson, Colorado, Damon ISD, DeWitt, Fayette, Fort Bend, Lavaca, Lee, Milam, Waller, and Washington. 9. Persons who have retired from school districts outside this credit union's field of membership and who now reside within this credit union's field of membership as a permanent change of residence. 10. Relatives of the primary member, including spouse, children, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, fathers-in-law, mothers-in-law, and cousins. |
