Shred Day at College Station
Our next Shred Day will take place at our College Station office on Saturday, June 2, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Members may bring their personal papers and they will be shredded at no cost. Bring all papers in a box or bag. Paper clips and staples can be included, but please remove any binder clips. There is a limit of 5 bags/boxes per vehicle.

Urgent Message About Fraudulent Activity
We have been notified that members and nonmembers are receiving texts to their cell phones stating that their card has been deactivated and to call 713-360-9912 in order to reactivate their card. These texts are fraudulent attempts to gain information from you that may be used for identity theft or other fraudulent actions. To protect your private information, please do not respond to the text or call the phone number provided in the text.

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY NCUA INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS
All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the National Credit Union Administration through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to members under the NCUA's general share insurance rules.
The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional share draft account (or demand deposit account) on which the insured credit union pays no interest or dividend. It does not include any transaction account that may earn interest or dividends, a negotiable order of withdrawal ("NOW") account, money-market deposit account, and Interest on Lawyers Trust Account ("IOLTA"), even if share drafts may be drawn on the account.
