This individual is responsible for receiving and processing all member transactions in person, by mail or by phone. You must be accurate in handling of cash and negotiable items, enjoy working within a team and committed to providing quality service to our members. The teller reports directly to the Branch Manager with some direction from the Head Teller.

Responsibilities include: processing member transactions such as deposits and payments, handling negotiable items such as gift cards and money orders and managing a cash drawer. Some Saturday hours required.

Education and Experience Requirement

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous teller experience or cash handling experience necessary

Real Estate Loan Processor – Katy

This individual supports the Supervisor of Real Estate Lending and the Real Estate Loan Officer and is supervised by the Supervisor of Real Estate Lending.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: processing duties related to new real estate loan requests, maintaining real estate loan files and documents, monitoring escrow account activity, paying homeowners insurance and real estate taxes, requesting statements from property tax authorities, analyzing and evaluating individual escrow accounts annually, securing all documents and signatures to perfect any liens or notes and security agreements, preparing and submitting documentation to attorneys on all approved loans, balancing the department general ledger and performing daily and monthly processing and reporting.

Education and Experience Requirement

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous real estate or lending experience helpful but not necessary

This position is one of actual performance requiring the ability to concentrate on detailed work, communicate effectively (oral & written), interpret policies and procedures, analyze reports and compile and analyze data. This individual must be able to work independently and maintain information confidentially.

Vice President – Marketing, Katy

This position is responsible for coordinating and directing marketing/membership development functions and for the formation, development, and implementation of Credit Union marketing/membership development goals and objectives. Participates in the inception and development of new products and services based on perceived member needs. Organizes and directs the Marketing and MDR departments and ensures that projects are well coordinated and complement the strategic objectives of the credit union. Develops policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure efficient and effective marketing/membership development operations. Supervises and appraises the activities of subordinate personnel and ensures that all promotional activities are performed professionally. The position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Member Services.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist management with strategic planning, develop and implement marketing/membership development plans and programs; work with the Compliance Officer and other resources as needed to ensure that all marketing and public relations materials comply with State and Federal rules and regulations; analyze market trends and demographic data concerning members and potential members, products and services, and potential products and services; keep abreast of changing trends in the marketplace and recommend changes; evaluate and oversee activities of vendors to be used by the credit union; oversee the design, development and implementation of marketing and public relations programs; oversee the design and editing of the credit union quarterly newsletter; develop and monitor budgets, ensure marketing/membership development functions are well coordinated with branch operations and related departments; provide leadership to marketing and membership development personnel through effective delegation, communication and objective setting; oversee the development, management and integration of ancillary programs of the website for members, employees and the Board of Directors; evaluate marketing effectiveness through analysis of department activity, new account data and member statistics; ensure the credit union’s professional reputation is maintained throughout the organization, school districts and community; make presentations to members/non-members for product and service offerings of the credit union.

Education and Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Marketing Experience required, preferably in a financial environment

This position requires knowledge of all credit union services and experience in promotional techniques.

Membership Development Representative

This position is integral in the credit union’s efforts to retain and expand existing account relationships and acquire new members. You will help develop and implement activities and strategies that promote growth of the credit union. This position reports to the Sr. VP Administration/ Human Resources.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: develop functional relationships with school district and SEG administrative employees and systematically conduct periodic business calls on these key employees for the purpose of promoting credit union products and services, advance the credit union name in the school districts and SEGs in the credit union’s field of membership and assist with training at the branch level.

Education and Experience Requirement

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Conversational Spanish preferred
  • Previous credit union experience preferred
  • General knowledge of basic credit union philosophy and operation beneficial

Superior oral and written communication skills are required along with a high level of confidence in introducing and presenting yourself and the credit union to school teachers, staff and administrators as well as business owners and employees of local government entities. Presentations to small and large groups about credit union products and services or other financial education topics will be required.
