This individual will provide assistance and support to the Internal Auditor and report directly to the Head Internal Auditor with additional oversight by the CEO/ President.

Compliance Assistant – Administration Building, Katy, TX

This individual will provide assistance and support to the Compliance Officer and report directly to the Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: reviewing assigned daily and monthly reports for completeness, accuracy and compliance; assist with research of compliance questions; distribute compliance and risk assessment questionnaires to appropriate managers/departments and summarize responses.

Information System Technologist – Administration Building, Katy, TX

This position is responsible for all aspects of the computer system maintenance and operation including, but not limited to, the daily transmissions of files, report generation, and miscellaneous postings. Installs, upgrades, and maintains computer hardware and peripheral equipment. Performs any special assignments under the direction of the VP – Information Technology.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review of all data processing and security logs weekly, documenting the review and monitoring daily activity; maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and backup all hardware related to the information system; load system upgrades received from Fiserv Galaxy; install new software applications and perform upgrades to existing programs.

Education and Experience Requirement

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience in related field
  • IT Hardware Certification preferred but not required
  • This position requires a knowledge of all credit union IS operations and a basic knowledge of computer hardware installation and maintenance.

    This position is integral in the credit union’s efforts to retain and expand existing account relationships and acquire new members. You will help develop and implement activities and strategies that promote growth of the credit union. This position reports to the Sr. VP Member Services.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: develop functional relationships with school district and SEG administrative employees and systematically conduct periodic business calls on these key employees for the purpose of promoting credit union products and services, advance the credit union name in the school districts and SEGs in the credit union’s field of membership and assist with training at the branch level.

    Education and Experience Requirement

    • Bachelors degree preferred
    • Conversational Spanish preferred
    • Previous credit union experience preferred
    • General knowledge of basic credit union philosophy and operation beneficial

    Superior oral and written communication skills are required along with a high level of confidence in introducing and presenting yourself and the credit union to school teachers, staff and administrators as well as business owners and employees of local government entities. Presentations to small and large groups about credit union products and services or other financial education topics will be required.

    Receptionist – Sugar Land

    The primary responsibility of this position is to greet and direct members as they call or personally visit the branch office. The Branch Manager directs and supervises the work performed by this individual.

    Duties include, but are not limited to: answering incoming phone calls promptly and handling the calls to effectively provide the best level of service to the member; greeting members and others as they enter the branch and direct them, as needed, to other branch employees; answering basic questions about the credit union and it’s products and services; assisting loan, new account and teller functions as needed with tasks such as scanning documents. May also be trained to operate a teller drawer in the lobby or drive-through as needed.

    Education and Experience Requirement

    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • Previous experience as a phone receptionist is helpful but not required

    This position is one of actual performance requiring direct contact with the general membership and providing assistance as appropriate. Excellent verbal communication skills and a pleasant/helpful personality are a must.

    Full Time Teller – Brenham Branch

    This individual is responsible for receiving and processing all member transactions in person, by mail or by phone. You must be accurate in handling of cash and negotiable items, enjoy working within a team and committed to providing quality service to our members. The teller reports directly to the Branch Manager with some direction from the Head Teller.

    Responsibilities include: processing member transactions such as deposits and payments, handling negotiable items such as gift cards and money orders and managing a cash drawer. Some Saturday hours required.

    Vice President – Marketing, Katy

    This position is responsible for coordinating and directing marketing/membership development functions and for the formation, development, and implementation of Credit Union marketing/membership development goals and objectives. Participates in the inception and development of new products and services based on perceived member needs. Organizes and directs the Marketing and MDR departments and ensures that projects are well coordinated and complement the strategic objectives of the credit union. Develops policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure efficient and effective marketing/membership development operations. Supervises and appraises the activities of subordinate personnel and ensures that all promotional activities are performed professionally. The position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Member Services.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist management with strategic planning, develop and implement marketing/membership development plans and programs; work with the Compliance Officer and other resources as needed to ensure that all marketing and public relations materials comply with State and Federal rules and regulations; analyze market trends and demographic data concerning members and potential members, products and services, and potential products and services; keep abreast of changing trends in the marketplace and recommend changes; evaluate and oversee activities of vendors to be used by the credit union; oversee the design, development and implementation of marketing and public relations programs; oversee the design and editing of the credit union quarterly newsletter; develop and monitor budgets, ensure marketing/membership development functions are well coordinated with branch operations and related departments; provide leadership to marketing and membership development personnel through effective delegation, communication and objective setting; oversee the development, management and integration of ancillary programs of the website for members, employees and the Board of Directors; evaluate marketing effectiveness through analysis of department activity, new account data and member statistics; ensure the credit union’s professional reputation is maintained throughout the organization, school districts and community; make presentations to members/non-members for product and service offerings of the credit union.

    Education and Experience Requirement

    • Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent industry experience
    • Marketing Experience required, preferably in a financial environment

    This position requires knowledge of all credit union services and experience in promotional techniques.
