Information System Technologist – Administration Building, Katy, TX

This position is responsible for all aspects of the computer system maintenance and operation including, but not limited to, the daily transmissions of files, report generation, and miscellaneous postings. Installs, upgrades, and maintains computer hardware and peripheral equipment. Performs any special assignments under the direction of the VP – Information Technology.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review of all data processing and security logs weekly, documenting the review and monitoring daily activity; maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and backup all hardware related to the information system; load system upgrades received from Fiserv Galaxy; install new software applications and perform upgrades to existing programs.

Education and Experience Requirement

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience in related field
  • IT Hardware Certification preferred but not required
  • This position requires a knowledge of all credit union IS operations and a basic knowledge of computer hardware installation and maintenance.

    Membership Development Representative – Fort Bend County Area

    This position is integral in the credit union’s efforts to retain and expand existing account relationships and acquire new members. You will help develop and implement activities and strategies that promote growth of the credit union. This position reports to the Sr. VP Member Services.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: develop functional relationships with school district and SEG administrative employees and systematically conduct periodic business calls on these key employees for the purpose of promoting credit union products and services, advance the credit union name in the school districts and SEGs in the credit union’s field of membership and assist with training at the branch level.

    Education and Experience Requirement

    • Bachelors degree preferred
    • Conversational Spanish preferred
    • Previous credit union experience preferred
    • General knowledge of basic credit union philosophy and operation beneficial

    Superior oral and written communication skills are required along with a high level of confidence in introducing and presenting yourself and the credit union to school teachers, staff and administrators as well as business owners and employees of local government entities. Presentations to small and large groups about credit union products and services or other financial education topics will be required.

    Full Time Teller – Katy Branch Office

    This individual is responsible for receiving and processing all member transactions in person, by mail or by phone. You must be accurate in handling of cash and negotiable items, enjoy working within a team and committed to providing quality service to our members. The teller reports directly to the Branch Manager with some direction from the Head Teller.

    Responsibilities include: processing member transactions such as deposits and payments, handling negotiable items such as gift cards and money orders and managing a cash drawer. Some Saturday hours required.

    Education and Experience Requirement

    • High school graduate or equivalent
    • Previous teller experience or cash handling experience necessary

    Monday-Friday Afternoon hours and some Saturdays from 8:15am – 12:45pm

The teller reports directly to the Branch Manager.

    Member Service Representative – Bryan

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting members with the opening of various types of accounts, file maintaining existing accounts, issuing and surrendering term share certificates, providing teller services, and handling telephone calls.

    Education and Experience Requirement

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ten key calculator
    • Cash handling experience
    • Familiarity with credit union member service documents

    This position is one of actual performance requiring direct contact with the general membership and providing assistance with a full range of services. It requires the employee to be well versed in all areas of member service. This position requires accuracy and speed in handling large sums of cash. It will also require Saturday work on a rotating basis.
