Career Opportunities

Part Time Teller – Saums Road Branch

Monday-Friday Afternoon hours and some Saturdays from 8:15am – 12:45pm

This individual is responsible for receiving and processing all member transactions in person, by mail or by phone. You must be accurate in handling of cash and negotiable items, enjoy working within a team and committed to providing quality service to our members. The teller reports directly to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities include: processing member transactions such as deposits and payments, handling negotiable items such as money orders and managing a cash drawer. Some Saturday hours required.

Education and Experience Requirement

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous teller experience or cash handling experience necessary.

Consumer Lending Support – Administration

This individual is supervised by the Vice President of Lending.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: prepare and process all titling documents; answer incoming calls from members and staff concerning titles and liens; review title and loan documentation for accuracy and compliance; keep current with applicable title and lien laws; monitor release of titles for paid-in-full loans; monitor BVSCU’s lienholder interest in member provided property & casualty insurance coverage; process member disability, death and GAP claims as well as warranty refunds and cancellations.

Education and Experience Requirement

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous credit union experience helpful but not necessary

This position is one of actual performance requiring the ability to concentrate on detailed work, communicate effectively (oral & written), interpret and follow policies and procedures, know and understand credit union products and services. This individual must be able to maintain information confidentially, interact with members and work as part of a team.
