How does Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union protect my personal information?	To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.
How does Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union collect my personal information?	We collect your personal information, for example, when you 1. open an account or use your credit or debit card 2. make a wire transfer or show your government-issued ID 3. apply for financing We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing?	Federal law gives you the right to limit only 1. sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness 2. affiliates from using your information to market to you 3. sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you State law and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Definitions
Affiliates	Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. 1. Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union has no affiliates.
Nonaffiliates	Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. 1. Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union does not share with our nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint Marketing	A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. 1. Our joint marketing partners include advertising/marketing agencies, insurance companies and card processors.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
For everyday business, marketing, joint marketing, affiliates and nonaffiliates everyday business purposes we will exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of Text Message services.
